Krzysztof Kieslowski entrusted to my favorite filmmakers from the first film I watched, Trois couleurs-Three Colors trilogy. A study of French flag from a Polish director: freedom, equality, brotherhood. Maybe this is the reason, that we feel the same feeling in every Kieslowski movie ... He is one of the unique directors who created the feeling of his own film with a sensitive and responsive expression but also an expression with hamrful reality. The first film of Kieslowski I've seen and my favorite movie of the trilogy is Trois couleurs: Bleu. Maybe the reason I love him so much is that the first film I watched is the first film of the trilogy, Blue.

Freedom, as in the other two films of the trilogy, reaches out to us through the lives of an independent, strong female character: Juliette Binoche who plays Julie. She loses her husband and daughter in a car crash and she is the only one alive. When she wakes up, she finds herself in a new beginning. The main starting point of the film is the reaching of blue light to our character and hearing the word "Hello". The felt-seen blue sensation throughout the film increases as the film progresses, like happening with feelings.

Why are you crying? Because you're not crying.

The lamp in the middle of everything that is made of blue beads, the blue lights in the face, the pale blue feeling spread throughout the film... The characters do not directly express their feelings, but the film makes us feel what they feel. It is a new beginning and a restricted freedom as a result of being almost completely alone in life. Why can't I complete the sentences? Why are they always half? These are just the feelings of the movie. It is not just the attempt to lighten our inner character by trying to turn an internal pain into physical pain just as our main character, who we know she is suffering, doesn't even reflect on us, but only when our chief character rubs his hands on the stones on the wall.

Even if we manage to isolate ourselves from what we experience, it is not possible to escape from our own self. One of the intersection points of the trilogy is the scene, where an old woman tries to throw the water bottle into the recycle bin. In the other two films of the trilogy, the characters realize the old woman and communicate with her in some way, but it is not possible in this film. It is then conveyed from the protagonist's point of view and in fact we realize that she has not seen the old woman, the screen turns into a sky covered with blue lights.

"Blue" is completing a composition that is unfinished, we hear the compositions of Zbigniew Preisner. Especially the final scene is completely indescribable. It's definitely one of my favorites and one of the final scenes I'm impressed with. One of my favorite points in the combination of music and film is that after the melody heard in important moments, the screen becomes black for a few seconds and continues again. As I said, without doubt, it makes us understand the characters that do not express their feelings and help us put ourselves in their places.

We see our main character's live after the death of her husband and daughter, in a lonely house with struggles. It's like a rat in a room of her house giving birth to his cubs. In such a situation, you find yourself thinking what I would do. You know you can't kill, it's harder to hurt an animal rather than a person for me, but you can't stay home with the sound they make and the consciousness that they're there.

The most admirable film of the trilogy is between Blue and Red as a general perception. Blue is the most intense film of feelings. If you can feel close to the film, it will be special for you. In this sense, red easily affects the subject and the red color with its power easily affects you. On the contrary, white is the highest direction of humor direction trilogy. The last works of Krzysztof Kieslowski's cinematography which are not enough for us. I believe that people who don't watch this triology are in a lose and people who watch are in a gain.

Love never vanishes.
